5th day in UBD in 2009

this day is the worst day of all i had been in UBD. gila…hancur exam ku n plus aku nda bertido sal revising math.

i come to UBD very early at 7.23AM and it was a bright shinny day. the sunshine is so great. the thing i forgot to take the picture…it so lovely. selalunya kan, Hujan, limbu and so dowwn ja. Nda bersemangat kan begerak. but dis day, i felt so semangat n i hope the exam going well.

i got exam at 9.00 AM and i really terkajut…most of the supplement is my frenz. ahaha. really me so peranjat. i thought aku saja sorang, but rupanay kawan ku jua.

anw, overall the exam i can say….TOTALLY HANCUR..anatah ah. i hope i pass lah da exam. mun nda aku terpaksa repeat that course and i am going to berpacah dgn ayang ku.

but nda apalah, jgn saja berpacah hati. atu aku nda mau tuh…i really love her…so much…(berkaitan dgn UBD life kah ne?? :P)

at this time, there was tutorial math but i didn’t masuk. i want to enter but i am too sleepy jua. so bek i rest my eyes first then revise for next exam.

anw, my next exam start at 2 PM n dis is the one that i never revise langsung. i hope i can read last minute but i am too sleepy to do so. well i just tido sekajap to let my eyes rest.

wen the exam start, the i tot i cant answer all, but i do can answer all of it. strange..i never revise but i can do it?? so MISTERI…>.<

Keris Patih: Profile

Berawal dari persahabatan empat orang mahasiswa Institut Musisi Indonesia, Arief, Badai, Andika, Anton, terpanggil untuk membentuk sebuah Band bertemakan Instrumental Etnik, yang mereka gubah dalam Aransemen Baru.

Sore, 21 April 2003, tercetuslah nama dari grup tersebut, KERISPATIH, yang artinya diambil dari makna sebuah Keris : senjata sakti seorang empu, petinggi kerajaan terdahulu; dan Patih : yang melambangkan jabatan penting dalam suatu kerajaan dan biasanya dijabat oleh seorang laki-laki. Empat laki-laki inilah yang akan menggunakan “keris” (teranalogi kerispatih adalah musik) sebagai senjata ampuh dalam melahirkan karya-karya terbaik yang bersifat universal atau dapat diterima oleh semua orang.

22 April 2003 menjadi saksi pertama KERISPATIH tampil di acara Farabi Sunday. Terbersitlah keinginan untuk memiki seorang vocalist. Hendra Samuel Simorangkir, rekan mereka di kampus yang sama dan salah satu finalis 30 besar Indonesian Idol I, akhirnya bergabung dengan KERISPATIH.

Dengan formasi ini, KERISPATIH menjalani hari-hari tanpa kejelasan apa-apa. Seakan-akan band ini mengalami “stuck” untuk mencapai sesuatu yang lebih baik. Akhirnya, KERISPATIH mengambil inisiatif untuk mengusulkan management untuk Kerispatih. Ingga Jaya Purda, seorang sahabat di kampus yang sama, akhirnya bersedia membantu mengatur management band ini (kini management itu adalah Bagot’z Productions).

Harapan KERISPATIH adalah menjadi sebuah Band yang mempunyai karier panjang dan dapat menjadi Icon besar di belantika musik Indonesia. Harapan terakhir yang tidak kalah pentingnya adalah KERISPATIH dapat mewakili perasaan dan isi hati para “MAHAPATIH” (panggilan akrab untuk fans KERISPATIH).

today is the big Supplement exam...

i dun want to talk about it...

anw, me today see her again same class same...nw she wearing black n plus...SAMA lagi baju kami..nw...ampir serupalah. but today, me nda duduk ampir dgn nya...me duduk jauh bangat kata org indon. me nda mau rasa mental ku exam tadi dilapaskan arah nya..so i dun want to see her today..me nampak plg ia dari jauh more clearly...n me happy she smile n laugh macam biasa.

after class math, me hav CO1105..but me nda mau masuk sal me so tired...me nda bertido malam kelmarin sampai ke pagi saja mau revise programming. after balik me tarus mengampai..den ter tido... 

abis....so simple...malasss..ahaha :P

My 3rd day in UBD

Today....is THE BEST DAY OF ALL!!

me got no class in the morning and only math in the afternoon. 

But...the cali thing, me wakes up at 12 NOON???...my class start at 1 PM. atu bergagas ku pakai baju lah. anw, me waering baju peach o pink today...saja mau sama kan baju ku dgn ayangku. so peduli apa pink o peach..janji ayangku gembira liat aku kai baju pink sama mcm kedidia..ahaha. but i really hope ia nda tipu aku lah..caweer to munia pakai baju kaler lain. 

me go to UBD that day around 12.35PM and arrive at 12.51PM. as i arrive in the UBD.....i really suprise...My ayang oso arrive the same time as me and we meet exactly outside the lecture hall. wah..me so happy!! plus she wearing Pink jua...Me jadi Couple wif her today...ahaha..perasaaan aku ah..

anw, me sit 1 chair open next to her on the left. actually her friend want to sit next to me but nda jadi. malu kali apa...nda ku tahu. so wat janji aku duduk ampir dgn nya. masa lecture sdg dijalan kan...eseh bahasa ku ah, me nda nampak kedidia sal me on the left and the screen is on the left too so i need to pusing kekiri sedang ia di kanan ku. so it hard for me to see her lah. But, sometimes me toleh ke kanan saja liat ia...Wah..kyusuk belajar...but me smile wen she laugh at the lecturer wen the lecturer say..."only people in gadong can do this..."...nampak gigi2 nya...COMEL lah pokoknya...

my math class end at 2 PM and dis is the sad time of me....separated from my ayang...waaa...i dun want dipisahkan...eseh...labih...well dis tym, i dun want to disturb her talking to her fren..n i follow her until keluar CHall. Wen kwn nya balik, i try to tagur kedidia but she ZOooom tarus arah ketanya. perlahan plg..nda plg laju mc invade aku. i know she shy to meet aku n me shy to meet ia..ahaha. so nda tah berkemsampaian...nda tia ku berckp dgnnya today...

after the math, me go back early coz today is wenesday..CCA for all. so no class in the Evening...

My Life at UBD 2009 part 3

13th Jan

2nd days of UBD...

i woke up early at 6.30 a.m. Take a shower than hav a breakfast. this tym there's no problem, i hav transport. Before i go, i texted my Ayang 1st saying Gudmorning and say sorry for what happen yesterday. Well i do texted her every morning except when i woke late. 

anw, i go to UBD at 7.34 AM, the day is still young and i am still a little bit of sleepy.my first class is JAVA. well talk about the JAVA subject, I hav supplement on the 15th Jan this week. yeah, i knoe,  it so soon but so wat tia...me ready udah kan exam.

Today, it was the first lecture on MIB. wah so many people attended the class(well di wajibkan dtg) and the lecturer tell us all about the course and u know wat, it frightened me up! we need to know BAHASA MELAYU BRUNEI + we need to know JAWI...

wah...its been so loong i dun write JAWI...but i can read lah...except i didn't know how to write...forgot...ahaha..hope ok..i dun want to repeat~~~

Anyway, the lecturer tell us to register our name at APB 3rd floor and the group was divided into 12 part. i in group 4, 3-4 PM. actually, i want 2-3 PM group 2, coz...i want se class dgn my sweetheart. but takdir nda nyuruh..nda tia..

On the way to the APB, i msg my ayang...well it took about 20mins kali baru tah ia wply. but me dun care, i know her alwayz put her mobile inside her bag n she couldn't hear..kali lah..just my +ve thinking..my -ve thinking...emmm nada...ahahaha

after doing that, i go to library to study for my exam...but..I actually dun. ahaha kes malas lah tuh. sajuk lagi. n terpikirkan ayangku saja, "kiranya ku berjumpa ia di library...apaku buat ah...kacau her kah..or biarkan ia sama kawan nya study o borak.."..antah lah..me so rindu bah arah nya so me terpikir saja ia...

anw, me stuck at library doing nothing until 2 PM. now, me go to IP MAN bestfriend, Mr Chong ahaha. well his face same as the guy who has been shot in the head by the japanese soldier..ahaha dun know wat his name...actually..

And in this lecturer...my god..he didn't give us notes for this semester..wow..can i cope with it??

i hope dapatlah...his lecture is about Webdesign..kinda hard...o easy we didn't know...but the best things, he told us how to hack the UBD internet..he told us use "Tor" webbrowser to allow untraffic access to the internet thru UBD network. he oso tell us that we can MSN thru UBD network by using....forgot the name...anw, siuk lah...pokoknya..

After the class, me tarus balik coz my JAPANESE language not start yet in this week. so i go back home early today...around 3.40PM kali~

DOTA

DOTA: Defense of the Ancient

Ahhh, yes, Defense of the Ancients. DotA is arguably the best custom map for WarCraft III--I would even go as far as to say DotA is to WC3 as CounterStrike is to Half Life. In fact, it is not uncommon for someone to purchase WC3 and TFT solely for the purpose of playing DotA online. Many other custom maps out there have tried to be as good and as popular as DotA. Few have succeeded.

On the surface, DotA may seem like a simple enough game. I mean, for the vast majority of the time, all you do is control one hero. One. One is a lot less than the forces you control in a regular melee game--which usually number in the dozens. Not to mention, all you have to do is go from one side of the map to the other and destroy the opposing faction's main building. So why are so many people out there drawn to DotA if it's so bland?

Balance. Balance is what brings players back for game after bloody game of DotA. The number of available heroes to choose from number over six dozen. The number of items that can be equipped on said heroes also number over six dozen. And, to top it all off, everything is (mostly) balanced. There is no overpowered hero that everyone will want to choose. There is no overpowered sword of truth that everyone will try to obtain. DotA, after going through countless iterations, still manages to be a game based more on skill than luck. And what makes it so damn fun is that because of the huge number of heroes and items, no two games will play out to be exactly the same. There is no set "build order" to follow in the early game. There is no fail proof strat to build towards for the mid and late game. Rather, DotA manages to be a complex, multi-dimensional game that emphasizes a player's skill. If only there were more games out there like DotA.

It behaves the same as the original AI, and has only been updated to account for balance changes, new item recipes, and most new features. As such, some new content does not work fully with the AI yet.

Warning: There is no AI for Lifestealer, Invoker, Clockwerk Goblin, Admiral Proudmoore nor Windrunner. They will get items but will neither use nor learn their skills.

Not quite a full fledged sequel but never feeling like a tacked on expansion pack, Crysis Warhead finds the perfect balance for fans of the first installment all the while adding just enough new material to keep new recruits interested. 

BOTTOM LINE: If you're a fan of the original or if you simply missed Crysis the first time around, Crysis Warhead is a prime example of an excellent, if relatively short, FPS experience.

Making things go "Boom"

Crysis Warhead takes place simultaneously with the original Crysis, recapping the events of what happened on the other side of the game's infamous island. You fill the cybernetic boots of everyone's favorite sociopathic Brit, Sergeant Sykes - AKA Psycho - and must battle your way through both a barrage of highly armed KPA radicals as well as a swarm of exosuit wielding aliens. And you thought your day job was tough.

Now, before we go any further, let's tackle the big question: can your computer run it? I had the good fortune of testing Crysis Warhead on three separate PCs - a high end PC with a graphics card to match and dual core processors, the $699 Crysis Warhead PC, and a lower end $499 computer with a run-of-the-mill graphics card and rather basic processor. I'm more than happy to report that on all three machines, the game ran incredibly smooth without an instance of slowdown. The game's graphic customization features are vast, truly allowing you to choose the best gaming experience for you - whether it's a lower polygon count and quicker load times, or the ability to count every blade of grass in the North Korean jungle.

Maximum Gameplay

Warhead is a bit more linear than it's open-world predecessor with very to-the-point mission objectives integrated into a structured level system, yet still gives the player a wide array of choices regarding how they want to enter battle - or, if they feel the need, throw on their cloaking device and avoid it altogether. Vehicles have also received a massive upgrade, no longer exploding after taking two or three blasts from a shotgun, and prove much more sturdy devices for wreaking havoc on KPA encampments. Warhead introduces a few new weapons into the world of Crysis as well, including a brand new submachine gun, a massive and deadly grenade launcher, and one of my personal favorites - the ability to dual-wield micro-SMGs. All of these weapons are available along with an innovative assortment of maps in the game's separate multiplayer mode, Crysis Wars.

The biggest downside to I can find to Warhead is that you can probably knock it out in one sitting with a play time of about five hours. With a going price of $29.99, however, there's plenty of bang for your buck, and attempting missions over again in harder difficulty modes can really prove themselves as addicting challenges. Throw in the extraordinary Crysis Wars multiplayer, and you've got yourself an absolute steal.

Left4Dead

One of the "lucky" few apparently immune to the sickness, you, unfortunately, are also trapped in a city crawling with thousands of the bloodthirsty Infacted. Together with a handful of fellow Survivors, you must fight your way to safety or die alone. A co-operative multiplayer action game from the makers of "Counter-Strike," Left 4 Dead is built atop the most advanced version of the Source Engine and introduces version 2 of Turtle Rock's artificial intelligence (A.I.) technology.

CRYSIS- A best Known Games

FAR CRY

Far Cry was awesome, totally cool, with a wicked setting and solid game beneath the unparalleled graphics. Crysis is the sequel, the game that many people - myself included - had firmly in mind when building a new PC not long ago. Read on for my review... And please, beware of spoilers!

I really loved Far Cry. Sneaking around in realistic vegetation was damnably cool, and the tropical island setting was unique and well done. It fell apart at the end, and I've never completed it 'cause somehow I've saved with like five shots left and I'm in a dark lab full of things that want to annihilate me. By the time I got that far I'd had a great time and watched as the game became less and less linear. At the start I had free reign - I could go where I wanted and get things done the way I wanted, but by the end there was only one path.

Crysis, as a sequel to Far Cry, beats it in nearly every way. Visually it's far and away the better game, with graphics that punish my 2-month-old PC so hard it runs a few degrees hotter than it does when idle. That's hot indeed!

This time around you're a US special forces something or other in a 'nano suit' that gives you superhuman strength, speed, armour or cloaking. You can choose one at a time and, like Half Life, you've got a limited time to use 'em while the battery runs out, at which time you've got to shut it off and recharge. 

Running around the island bush is dreadfully fun: the graphics are unmatched by any other game yet released, and it's not at all hard to imagine you're really wandering around in the scrub and grass hiding from nasty men with big guns. 

If this were a standard review I'd probably talk about the relatively decent voice acting, convincing physics and solid sound. Instead I'm going to cover two things:

1. Playing Crysis is pure bliss. It looks amazing, and the controls are easily grasped and your character in the game does exactly what you want him to. The first three quarters of the game are nearly perfect.

2. The last quarter falls apart more than Far Cry did. You get no more choices: you do what you're told, and if you don't someone will shut off your suit or tell you over and over what you should be doing instead of the more-fun thing you're actually doing.

During the last boss battles I had the crap annoyed out of me by teammates who would repeat the same orders over and over regardless of what I was doing. "You must shoot the cannons!" as I'm shooting the cannons. "Use the special weapon!" which I didn't actually possess. I was several times exhorted to do something while I was lying on the ground, very much dead. The final level scripting is draconian and inflexible, a marked contrast to the unrestrained bliss of the rest of the game.

Have I mentioned how good it looks? It's fucking brilliant. 

Most of the game was worth the cost of admission. The last level annoyed me so much I sold the game to a friend 12 hours after I beat it. The distaste was too strong in my mouth to keep it.

I tried multiplayer once, on a level so large that the three of us playing never once saw one another. Screw that, I'll stick with Unreal Tournament.

Two words that rarely crop up when describing gaming laptops are 'minimalist' and 'restrained'. In a niche where the colourful Alienware M-series is among the more discrete in appearance, even with an illuminated sci-fi head on the lid, it doesn't take much to be elegant. To its credit, the Asus G71 boasts a clean look compared to its competition. There are flashing LEDs on the rear of the screen that change colour as the internal temperature heats up, and bright red flashes down the side. But beyond that, it feels positively reserved for a laptop of this size and purpose.

Quad core power It gets better. The keyboard is a full-sized affair that's very comfortable for gaming, and the mousepad has a sleek surface identical to the multi-touch pads in Asus' EeePC range, although it lacks support for two fingered scrolling and zooming.  Inside, though, it holds little back. The best-in-class quad core processor can be overclocked on the fly thanks to the Power4Gear eXtreme application, and there's a full terabyte of hard drive space on board, coupled with a Blu-ray drive for playing back HD movies on the gorgeous 1920x1200 screen. Top peripherals Asus has bundled some excellent peripherals with it too – a Razer gaming mouse, a pair of top quality SteelSeries headphones and a very useful backpack.  Even though the G71 is slimmer than other 17inchers out there, lugging it around in a normal shoulder bag for any length of time will leave you best suited for a career in campanology at Notre Dame cathedral.

With all that space and processing power, and HDMI to boot, the G71 is one of the best notebooks around if you are looking for a semi-permanent entertainment centre to be installed in your lounge.  

An entertainer, not a gamer The thing is, Asus is pitching the G71 explicitly as a games machine – and to put it bluntly, it's simply not. There's one key ingredient missing, and that's a decent graphics card.  The single GeForce 9700M GT doesn't produce framerates any where near comparable to the twin 8800GTs in an Asus G70, or the Crossfire X dual cards that current Alienwares are running. There's no way you'll get a recent game running at a playable speed at the monitor's native 1920x1200 resolution without turning all other image settings down low.  There's a huge imbalance between the supercharged CPU and the sub-par graphics card, and the only thing it really does is bump the price way up.  If you want a G71 for gaming or watching movies, go for the dual core version and save yourself £600 – the performance will be identical. You'd better really need all four cores for a specialist application to justify splashing out for the full price alternative.

My Life in UBD 2

its the start of my first subject that i learned in 2009 as i hav skipped two my subject before. Well, in this class, i am not waiting for the subject o the lecurer to start lecturing us. i am waiting for my Ayang. 

She come around 2.13 PM kali, with her frens..as she passed me  she do "Ukhum2"..well Me bangang why do she do that? She sits front of me, 4 Rows from me. so i was going to sit next to her...coz My inner says "go sit next to her" but my Head says "what the heck, do u want to disturb her study??"...so i confuse..which one do i choose..

in the end, there was two guys, her frens jua, sitting next to her so i have lost my chances. i just too late and my stupid head won't allow me..but, i still want to sit near to her..I MISSED HER SO MUCH SINCE LAST DAY I SEE HER...:'(

anw, i was waiting for the class to finish, as i waiting, i always look at her, even so at the back..As the class finish, i started package my things and move closer to her. i took her files silently . She terkajut but one thing i see she dun smile. she just bangang...

My Life in UBD 2009

12 january 2009,

everything is new...

a new day of the week,

a new subject to study,

a new enviroment,

and oso a new laptop to brings...

well the first day of UBD is not so gud..i missed 2 classes coz i came very late to UBD...

my class actually start at 8 a.m in the morning. I wake-up at early 7.43 AM. Well, i bet i never wake-up if my mother never wakes me up...

One problem then is about transport. i still dun have any license yet. My Driving teacher say 5th of january until 12th january we start study but..the things is we never did. He didn't call me and i called him always engage. Mabye, i need to change my Driving teacher kali...

anw, since there's no transport, i decided to wait until 9 AM and ofcoz, i missed my first class. I asked my Sis to hantar me UBD. well, She still sleeping in her bed when i asked her. She ignore me as anything didn't happens..Hello, 1st day of UBD please??? ahaha anw..I felt Down dat tym, I thought dat my family dun care me so VOLCANO ERUPTED...angry lah for short..

Even my mom i scolded...well when u mad, u never thing what hav u said and who do u "tempiaskan". so I go to my room, nyamal lah...ahaha bida jua tu, laki2 nyamal..ahaha..but really, i so sad...so i need to calm and think what i have done. about 30 mins, i felt O.K again. I dalled my BABAH and asked him to antar me to UBD. so He want and asked me to wait. 

At that tym, my mom still angry wif me, but in the end, everything started to calm down as my father come home. i started to take mmy backm pack which is 7.5 KG and go down to the VAN. 

Before, i was going to the VAN, i salam my mum and i say sorry but only in my heart...I can't say it thru my mouth...i just dun knoe why...

Anw, me arrive at UBD around 10.30 AM..OMG, i really missed two classes. and my Next class is MATH..

and Dis is the best of the best part...
